Italia Gandolfo is the Founder & CEO of Gandolfo Helin & Fountain Literary Management. With over 25 years of experience across film & television, publishing, PR, and advertising, she brings a rare depth of expertise to the representation of literary and dramatic rights.
Gandolfo began her career at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) during the Michael Ovitz era, where she researched classified projects and coordinated development materials (domestic and foreign) for top talent agents, writers, directors, producers, and actors. She also managed the agency’s confidential library of screenplays and manuscripts.
She later served as Director of Business Development for Meteor 17, a Los Angeles-based multimedia company, where she raised capital for film, stage, and music projects. Additionally, Gandolfo worked as a Senior Adviser to the Spirit Bear Youth Coalition (SBYC), the world’s largest youth-led environmental organization at the time, alongside prominent figures such as Dr. Jane Goodall and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The SBYC built a global network of more than 6 million members across 75+ countries.
