FRANCESCO CORDELLA
FRANCESCO CORDELLA is a professional journalist/writer with over twenty-five years of proven experience in print and broadcast. Since March 2004, he has worked as a Journalist/Staff Writer at the top selling entertainment weekly magazine Settimanale Dipiù.
As a screenwriter, he’s worked on several projects managed by Claudio Cupellini, co-director of the internationally-acclaimed TV-series, Gomorrah, and director/writer of feature films such as A Quiet Life (2010), starring Toni Servillo, who played the leading role in The Great Beauty (Oscar winner 2014 for Best Foreign Language Film).
Francesco co-wrote the TV pilot, The Long Road, along with director and producer Simone Frattari for Compagnia Leone Cinematografica Productions, the production company behind the famous Italian TV series, Una pallottola nel cuore.
His pilot script, The Invictus Bureau, is in development for an American TV series, and he’s written a feature script entitled Black Venice.
Francesco is an interactive fiction author, has written essays, and interviewed popular writers such as Steve Meretzky, as well as a chapter of: IF Theory Reader, a critically-acclaimed book about both the craft and theory of interactive fiction.
