Randa Handler


Randa Handler’s aptitude for languages (English, French, Arabic, Italian and Spanish) has sent her across the globe working with fortune 500 companies, celebrities and heads of state.  After graduating from Syracuse University with a Master’s degree in Communications, she began her career working in New York for the United Nations, serving as assistant to the Permanent Ambassador from Lebanon. Handler wrote and translated speeches, attended the General Assembly meetings and coordinated a documentary about the UN and educational programs for third world countries.

Handler went on to establish herself as an international journalist working for Press Impact (Paris, France). Handler worked with internationally acclaimed journalists, published authors, Princess Esmeralda of Belgium and Albert Zarca. Rock Hudson granted her an intimate, at-home interview after having denied press access for 12 years. It was to be his last. That interview and subsequent AIDS related features were published as worldwide cover stories. Handler’s work culminated into mass publishing in almost 50 major domestic and foreign publications.

She later established her own public relations firm, developing and designing promotional, advertising and marketing strategies for celebrities, production companies and multi-million dollar businesses in manufacturing, merchandising and retail. Example clients included Bob Barker, Beverly Sassoon, Deborah Shelton, Herbalife, The Miss Universe Corporation, Carol Smaldino, Francine Ratner Kaufman, MD and Nyhl Henson (cable television programming pioneer and entertainment industry executive).


Over the years, her work in international journalism, public relations and marketing has included associations with; CBS, ABC, The Olympic Games, Eva Gabor & Merv Griffin, The House of Dior, Harry Winston Jewelers, Valentino, Enzo Ferrari and the Ferrari Corporation, Madison Square Garden, The Children’s Miracle Network, Guess, Paris Match Magazine, VSD Magazine, Procter & Gamble, etc.

In 2003 Handler moved into publishing. She has successfully published a best-selling, educational children’s book series as well as internationally acclaimed and award-winning books. She is currently a children’s book author and illustrator. Her recently released titles include THE BOY WHO SPOKE TO GOD, THE THANKSGIVING PLATTER, IF I WERE KING, and two installments of the CUBBIE BLUE series, CUBBIE BLUE & HIS DOG DOT and CUBBIE BLUE: WHAT’S UP WITH MIKE?
