Award winning author, Dale Allan, is a graduate of Fordham University and has held several senior positions in global Fortune 250 companies. A black belt in martial arts, avid fly-fisherman and political junkie, his creative storylines reflect the many aspects of his diversified life. Dale grew up in a quaint town on the south shore of Long Island and experienced the harsh realities of life at a young age. When he was just twelve years old, his father was murdered while away on an extended business trip. A week before his death, Dale had struggled to write a letter updating him on the family’s activities. When his father was buried with the handwritten note in his pocket, Dale fully understood the power of writing.
His creative writing teacher in college encouraged him to consider a career as an author. However, feeling an obligation to help his family, Dale instead chose the business world and the security of a steady paycheck. For many years while in the corporate world Dale’s focus was on facts, not fiction. As an executive, Dale worked in the technology sector for a number of prestigious corporations. During this time his responsibilities expanded to include leading the implementation teams for large multi-billion dollar mergers. His global responsibilities necessitated many long plane trips to Europe and Asia during which his laptop became his best friend and his childhood love for writing resurfaced.
When he’s not writing, Dale enjoys spending time with his family and wrestling with his 120-pound German Shepherd, Hoss.
His writing has been heralded by the publishing industry and readers alike; he’s been compared to many noteworthy authors of our time including Clancy, Grisham, Patterson and Le Carré.
